House of Squared: The Move

Finally done with the move. And so House of Squared is now on WordPress. And all because of a single thing.

Google has been deleting posts given to them by RIAA without any form of notice before deletion, or any kind of investigation. I know that I will not be affected by this but the move from Google-owned Blogger.com to WordPress.com is more of a statement of disappointment on how Google handles things with RIAA.

If any of you are reading the Techdirt blog, you would know the intimidation strategy of RIAA. They sue first, hope that you’ll get scared and settle, and if you don’t get scared and settle, the court would most probably find you not guilty of any charges as RIAA doesn’t have sufficient evidence to get you a sentence. Sadly, a lot of ISPs and Web Hosts just follows the demands of RIAA. Which is why I would like to commend the Australian ISP who stood their ground in protecting the identity of their customers. RIAA is not the police which can demand a list of suspected file sharing offenders.

I just feel really bad that a company who has made “Don’t be evil”  their unofficial motto, would do this.

About Squared
House of Squared is written by that guy who knows more than the average Duterte supporter, which isn't saying much given that most of them are morons.
